There are a few people coming along (me, for example) who are techies. Most of the topics we have so far are non-technical. So, I've been wondering if there is anything that us techies might have to say that would be of interest to people coming along.
As an example, I've spent much of the last two years working for Penguin on getting their backlist (and, more recently, frontlist) converted to XML and eBook formats (IDPF ePub specifically). As such I've got a fair amount of knowledge squirreled away about the best practices in creating eBook content and approaches to dealing with book content in XML. I'm more than happy to talk about this sort of thing. I'd like to know if anyone is interested in hearing it.
(I know that is a fairly late time to bring this up - January failed to be quite as quiet as expected).
