Building Book-Based Social Networks


Over the last eighteen months or so Kate and I have been planning and launching social networks at HC - first our talent-spotting / crowd-sourcing / self-publishing community at www.authonomy.com, and now the soon to launch web community at www.bookarmy.com

 

Social media is growing massively - we'd be more than happy to share our experiences of growing web communities in the book world - perhaps kick start some discussions. Are social networks a a flash in the pan? For publishers, where's the revenue?
