I'd probably come to this even if i didn't have some book related ideas in my in-tray at work.
My day job is at the BBC - in Roo's team.
One thing I have been looking at is the digital manifestation of TV channel brands - beyond catchup TV and listings.
To that end I might discuss how BBC4's brand may be an appropriate entry point into reading/ books - as relevant to the things it is covering.
What I would really want is people to chip in - what sort of activity the BBC can aid, inspire, catalye etc around subjects, ideas, books.
Maybe i'll join a social-reading session and chip in, rather than hog a slot - there does seem to be alot on.
